The Mini-Chef is a great choice when you’re tight on space, or just prefer the lighter and more agile 5 1/2” blade. The mini-chef gives you the blade depth of traditional designs while being short enough to chop multiple piles of ingredients on a single cutting board, for instance. Compare this knife to the 7 or 8” Western Chef’s knives available here. 

The blade profile ground in a high rounded sabre. This gives the durability and cutting consistency of the sabre grind while rounding off the hard edges at the second bevel allowing for easier slicing.

Blade: 3/32” thick. 5 1/2” long. 52100 carbon steel. High, rounded sabre grind.

Handle: Stabilized spalted maple. Solid copper (non-plated) pins and lanyard tube. 4.25” long.

Sheath: (OPTIONAL) Natural veg-tanned, 8-9 oz leather from Hermann Oak American tannery. Hand stitched with waxed linen thread. Solid-copper snap closure.

Package: This knife comes with a 1/2 oz tin of leather conditioner (with sheath purchase), and a 1/2 oz bottle of blade oil (if carbon steel).

Returns: Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by the confirmed delivery date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also include the original packaging.
